Job Description

An Associate is responsible for a combination of direct account service and support for the Accounts Team, including support for multiple projects simultaneously.

An Associate is expected to keep projects on track and help prepare Accounts materials such as memos and plans.

Candidates for this position should possess the skills and qualifications to accomplish the following primary responsibilities:

  • Draft client and internal communications, including but not limited to emails and memos
  • Help build positive client relationships through meetings, calls, and responses to inquiries
  • Conduct online research in support of the Accounts team
  • Manage and track projects in coordination with multiple teams
  • Collaborate proactively with Accounts Director and teammates to drive client success
  • An Accounts Associate reports to the Accounts Director.

Necessary Qualifications:

Demonstrated commitment to elevating innovation and imagination in teamwork. Experience working effectively with people from diverse professional and cultural backgrounds. Capacity to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent coursework. At least two years of relevant experience working on political, legislative, and/or organizing campaigns, strategic communications, advocacy, in government, or a related field. Familiarity with G Suite for Business.

Necessary Personal Skills:

Experience creating and adopting behaviors that foster courage, connection, and curiosity at work. Capacity to harness one’s deep commitment to progressive causes for motivation in times of stress. Willingness to be truly and deeply collaborative.

Desired Personal Skills:

Persistent at being authentic at work, including the use of self-awareness, clear communication, a conflict-resolution mindset, and a sense of humor to be honest and speak up.
